Synopsis

Have you ever wondered what hides behind the facade of seemingly perfect families?

This engaging dramedy from festival favourite comedy director Dani de la Orden (THE TEST, YOU KEEP THE KIDS!, THE WEDDING UNPLANNER) explores the darker side of families.

Montse is thrilled about the upcoming weekend with her family at her house in Cadaqués on the Costa Brava. Although her ex has a new partner, and her children are all grown up with lives of their own, nothing and no one will put a damper on her excitement. She has been dreaming of a family reunion for ages and is determined that the weekend will be perfect - even if she must burn everything to the ground to make it so.

Focussed on the family ties that unite and divide, A House on Fire features an all-star ensemble including Enric Auquer (TWO MANY CHEFS SPA23), Alberto San Juan (FOUR'S A CROWD SPA23) and Macarena García (THE MINISTRY OF TIME).
